International cooperation

Strengthening its leading position in the Russian market of audit and advisory services, RBS develops successful cooperation with foreign companies doing or seeking to do business in Russia and expands its business activity into the CIS and other foreign states.

Foreign clients are offered the whole spectrum of our services, namely:

• establishing business ties with large national and international companies;
• market research, due diligence, business plan development;
• assessment and supervision over foreign investment projects (legal and organizational structure, financial schemes, property issues, legal issues, investment monitoring process, etc.);
• tax consulting required for the selection of the best financial scheme for investment projects;
• accounting and auditing;
• expert legal services;
• audit of project financial reporting (complete audit trail of all project expenses), audit and review of financial statements (including audit under IFRS and transformation from RAS to IFRS).

RBS international activity is facilitated by its alliance with Crowe Horwath International, one of the largest global audit and advisory networks works.
Founded in 1915, Crowe Horwath International is now ranked 9th among global professional organizations, operating from 560 offices around the world. The network has about 27,000 employees and over 3300 partners. In 2008 Crowe Horwath’s total fee volume rose above $3 bln, showing 21% revenue growth rate.
RBS helps the network’s clients to succeed in the local market, and draws global thought leadership to assist Russian clients with international projects.

RBS INTERNATIONAL PARTNERS
We have established and are now actively developing mutually beneficial cooperation with a number of largest foreign companies, among them HATCH, Vision Transportation Group, MottMcDonald, Agiplan. Such collaboration enables us to add new specialized services (engineering, major turnkey projects, etc.) to our product line.

Hatch is a leading international company supplying business consulting, engineering, technology, project and construction management to the metallurgical, mining and energy industries. Through its 80 offices in all the largest countries of the world, Hatch is involved in more than $20 bln of financially closed projects. In 2003 Hatch has partnered with RBS to establish a joint venture that at present successfully provides engineering and advisory services in Russia.

Vision Transportation Group is a large corporation specifically designed and organized to develop and undertake major turnkey transport projects with the head office in Laval (Canada) and representative offices in Russia, Kazakhstan, Taiwan, Hong Kong and UAE. Since its inception, Vision Transportation Group has executed 134 projects in 35 countries around the world. At present the companies comprising the group are engaged in over 63 projects in 19 countries, with the total cost of over $70 bln.

Agiplan is the leading engineering and consulting company in Germany. Agiplan has delivered about 250  engineering and consulting projects that included master plan development, project management, financial and investment consulting to companies engaged in vehicle and airplane engineering, logistics, new materials production.

Mott MacDonald is a transnational corporation that has worked in Russia for over 15 years, offering consultancy assistance in all sectors from energy, real estate, transport and construction to healthcare and education, public utilities and environmental protection.

Oracle is one of the largest American business software companies specializing in developing database management systems, tools and ERP systems. Founded in 1977, the company has grown to have offices in over 145 countries around the world and over 70,000 employees. Oracle’s annual turnover is $18 bln. Oracle corporation in the CIS is engaged in Oracle software sales along with related consulting, technical support, training, and business applications implementation.

MEMBERSHIP IN INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATIONS

In 2008 RBS became a member of Canada Eurasia Russia Business Association (CERBA). The objective of the association in Russia is to facilitate mutually beneficial trade and investment ties between Canada and Russia.
